
Cheese Toast
Makes 6 servings
The nutty flavor of the melted Havarti makes this toast a great accompaniment or a perfect light lunch.
Ingredients
1 loaf French bread, about 14 inches long
8 tablespoons Lurpak® Unsalted Butter
2 garlic cloves, mashed into a puree
1 cup grated Dofino® Creamy Havarti
¼ cup chopped fresh dill
Methods
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Slice the bread lengthwise. Melt the butter and add garlic, cook for 2 minutes. Brush butter over bread halves. Sprinkle with cheese and bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
3. Remove and sprinkle tops with dill. Serve while hot.
